Tim Burton should just make a movie called ‘Johnny Depp’.

plot twist: Johnny Depp is played by Helena Bonham Carter

Anonymous: I notice that you said you are an Anthropology/Sociology student. What are your career plans after you're done that. Just wondering because I'm interested in taking that, but not sure what to do after :/

Honestly, I have absolutely no idea. It wasn’t my first preference actually. I always wanted to do Journalism, but apparently it wasn’t an approved combination with the japanese at the university that I am at. That being said, it was actually a blessing in disguise. I am absolutely loving the A&S course. It is so interesting and just thinking about it, there are pretty well no jobs in journalism either. I’m really keen to get into the forensic side of anthropology. I’m hoping that where ever I end up, it will let me travel and who knows, with the japanese, I will probably end up in Japan for a bit. I’m relying on the japanese to get me a decent job at the end of it. A&S is a great course and I really do recommend it. I don’t know if that answered your question. I am sure there are plenty of options at the end.

Whilst I was busy freaking out this morning about the piercing, Paranoid Android came on on the background and so I was like, Oh man, at least I will remember what song was playing when I get this bad boy pierced. The sexy as fuck piercer then came out with “whaaa?  who even is this?” I kind of laughed, thinking that it was a joke. I instantly lost a little bit of respect for him at that stage. Apparently he thought Radiohead were some shitty techno band so he had never bothered listening to them. But it’s ok because he made dick jokes and kept that beautiful, inuendo-filled conversation flowing. Plus, he was just so  goddamn attractive, he could listen to Nicki Minaj all day, everyday and he would still be the sexiest person alive.

Surprisingly enough, it really didn’t hurt. I haven’t felt it at all today. I managed to pull some story out of nowhere as to why we need more saline solution at home. My parents will never know!

On top of that, when I went to pick up my brother from school, I got to have a chat to my favourite teacher ever. He seemed so interested in what I was doing. It was so nice. I loved that the first thing he asked was if there were any new up-and-coming bands that he should look out for and if I went to some concerts that he went to. He knows me too well. We had such a good chat. I miss that guy!

Today was seriously such a good day!

I always see reblogs of gil elvgren pin-up paintings (who is one of my favorite pin up artists) but i never see any pin-up paintings of alberto vargas. alberto vargas was before mr. elvgren, and is a phenomenal artist with an amazing understanding of human anatomy. so if youve never heard of or seen any of his work its time you learned about him.

Vargas pin ups are fabulous, they’re all over the web!

Sneezing is definitely going to suck!

Just makes me think of the Tom Waits intro to “Better Off Without a Wife” on Nighthawks at the Diner. “Call yourself on the phone and ask yourself out….”
